This is a wide and varied spectrum of cultural activities for the visitor to avail of in Minorca. You should definitely pay a visit to the numerous prehistoric settlements and monuments scattered found all around the island: the Naveta des Tudons, Torralba d'en Salort, Torre d'en Galmés or Calascoves, among many others.

There is also plenty of museums to choose from, to visit such as the Museum de la Natura in Ferreries; Dioscesan and Municipal Museum (Diocesà i Museu Municipal des Bastió de sa Font) in Ciutadella; Museu de Menorca i Museu Hernández-Sanz in Maó; as well as the Military Museum (Museu Militar) and the Fortress Marlborough in Es Castell.

The main cultural events in the islands social calendar are The International Opera Week which takes place in Maó; the Summer Music Festival and the concerts at the Capella Davídica in Ciutadella; the International Organ Festival in Santa Maria de Maó and in the Cathedral of Ciutadella; as well as an ever increasing variety of musical events which take place on the island.
